​Job Summary

Provide support for new, current and legacy products and processes.  

​Primary Responsibilities

  • Product customization – Modify standard product to meet specific customer need.
  • Field and production support – directly engage in troubleshooting and teaching.
  • Value engineering – complexity reduction, cost reduction
  • New product development – from functional  block to platform architecture.

​Technical Acumen

​Electrical Engineering:

  • High voltage pulse generation
  • Core technology is ultrasound, RF frequency in 10MHz to 400MHz
  • RF engineering of both circuit design and system integration are required foundation skills
  • Analog circuits
  • Digital logic
  • AC/DC power
  • Motion control (multi axis, high speed scanning – steppers and servos)

Mechanical and system engineering – willingness to work in these technical areas is a must:

  • Water management (pumps, valves, filters)
  • Pneumatics (air cylinders, vacuum generation, air knives, regulators)
  • Material handling
  • Fixtures – sample holding
  • Product packaging
  • Ergonomics and safety
  • Design for assembly and service
  • Standard compliance
